For more than four years, I have explored the forests, mountains and hidden places of the Harz region with my camera.
My work focuses on atmosphere rather than documentation. Fog, silence, solitude and the traces left behind by time are recurring themes throughout my photography. Through my images, I aim to capture moments that feel suspended between reality and memory.
Every photograph is created during long walks through changing landscapes – often in challenging weather conditions, where light and atmosphere exist only for a brief moment.
