Where the Forest Remains
This collection was created in the mist-covered landscapes of the Harz Mountains.
The forests shown in these photographs are changing. Storms, drought, insects, and time have left visible traces across the landscape. Yet within this transformation, there is still beauty.
The fog softens the boundaries between life and decay, presence and absence. Paths disappear into silence. Solitary trees stand against the elements. What remains is not destruction, but atmosphere.
These photographs are not about documenting a location.
They are about the feeling of standing alone in a landscape where nature is constantly rewriting itself.
A reminder that even in places marked by loss, there is still wonder, stillness, and light.
